Concrete Structures GC Announces Design/Build Contract for Permanent Staff Housing Complex in the Bahamas

Jupiter and Sunrise, Florida — Concrete Structures General Contractor Division (CSGC) is pleased to announce its latest international project: a Permanent Staff Housing Complex for a major cruise line, located in the heart of the Bahamas. This milestone design/build initiative underscores CSGC’s comprehensive construction capabilities and its continued commitment to delivering high-quality, purpose-driven facilities for major corporate clients.

The new development consists of two three-story residential buildings, each encompassing approximately 15,000 square feet. Together, the structures will provide 128 dormitory-style rooms accommodating one to two employees per unit. Each living space features a private bath, offering residents enhanced comfort, privacy, and modern amenities.

A key differentiator on this project is CSGC’s ability to self-perform major scopes of work, including producing our own concrete on-site. For this development, CSGC imports raw materials and operates their own batch plant, ensuring full control over concrete quality, mix consistency, and schedule reliability. This unique vertical integration provides significant value to the client through improved efficiency and reduced logistical delays.

Project Highlights

  • Modern, island-inspired architecture, including hip roofs and gabled dormers that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
  • A bright, two-story lobby featuring expansive storefront glazing that welcomes natural light and creates a vibrant communal atmosphere.
  • Colorful, multi-tone exterior finishes reflecting the energetic and authentic aesthetic of Bahamian culture.
  • Thoughtfully programmed interiors designed to support the daily needs and long-term well-being of cruise line staff.
  • Comfortable, functional living spaces elevate the standard for employee accommodations.
  • On-site concrete production utilizing CSGC’s own batch plant and self-perform crews to enhance schedule control and product quality.

The project represents modern design, cultural inspiration, and practical functionality. CSGC’s ability to produce their own concrete on-site results in unmatched control over quality and scheduling—an advantage that directly benefits their clients.

The Permanent Staff Housing Complex reinforces CSGC’s expertise in design/build delivery and highlights the company’s ability to execute international projects that require thoughtful planning, efficient coordination, and a deep understanding of both client needs and regional context.

Construction is underway, and CSGC will share progress updates as the project moves forward.
